Jim Brander
PRINCIPAL & MANAGING PARTNER
Jim attended the University of Saskatchewan where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He’s been a Chartered Professional Accountant (formerly known as Chartered Accountant) in Alberta and British Columbia since 1990. Prior to venturing out on his own Jim gained experience articling with KPMG and worked as an investment advisor with the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Dominion Securities. Jim has been managing his own accounting practice since 2003.
In his personal life, Jim finds happiness spending time with his children. He enjoys being active, boxing and running in competitive races. He’s a fan of baseball and classic cars.
Kailey Murphy
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT / MANAGER
Kailey holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Laurentian University and has been working in public practice since 2009. She passed the CPA’s Common Final Examination in 2018, and qualified as a CPA in 2020.
Kailey enjoys spending time with her son and husband, as well as cooking and wine.
Natalie Carter
ADMINISTRATOR
Originally from the Yukon, Natalie moved to Calgary in 2018. She holds a certificate in bookkeeping and has worked in office environments since 2011.
Natalie enjoys spending time with family and friends and hanging out with her dog.
